Having worked in the team sports industry for over 8 years, Mike opened Florida Team Sports in October of 2021. With a wealth of knowledge and years of experience in the industry, Mike knew it was time to bring his dream to life in central Florida. Mike Cooley lives and breathes everything sports. Having grown up playing youth sports starting at the age of three through high school at Lake Brantley, Mike has been attached to the community and sports for over 30 years. After graduating from Florida State University, Mike began his professional career back in Orlando and worked his way into the sporting good industry. After gaining an invaluable amount of information and contacts in the industry, Mike decided to open Florida Team Sports. Mike has two amazing children, Amelia, and Clayton, and is married to his dream wife, Carrie. When not working, Mike enjoys helping coach Amelia’s T-ball team, fishing, competitive bbq, and supporting all his favorite sports teams. At the end of the day, Mike’s goal is to simply provide customers with what they expect: exceptional customer service, honesty, and the products they deserve.
